Quilt Preparation

Please make sure your quilt top is neat, pressed, and squared. Backing seams should be neatly pressed and squared so that it loads properly on the machine. Backing and batting must be 6” larger on all sides of the quilt top.

Trim any excess threads from the quilt top. Dark threads may sometimes show through lighter fabrics from the front once the quilt has been quilted. If you plan on adding any embellishments such as buttons it is best to wait until quilting is completed. Some soft appliques are fine to quilt through. Please make sure there are no holes, missed seams or any pins in the quilt top, additional charges may be added for repairs. Do not baste or pin your quilt before sending it to be quilted.
